64 Celebrities You Never Realized Were Your Sorority Sisters

Remember when Meghan Markle wasn’t a casual member of the British royal family? Yeah me neither, but apparently, she was busy living that sorority life at Northwestern University. Meghan rushed Kappa Kappa Gamma, and according to biographer Andrew Morton, her sisters “embraced her warmly.” Duh, wouldn’t you?

That’s right, Kourtney Kardashian went to college and was apparently a sorority pledge? Rumor has it, Kourt joined Alpha Phi at University of Arizona, but it doesn’t seem to be a huge part of her life these days.

Important info, Bachelor Nation fans: Hannah Brown pledged Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Alabama! And apparently, the house even got caught in some dramz. TMZ claims the sorority refused to let ABC film promos at Hannah’s old digs because of “security concerns.” Awk.

Brandy is an honorary member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, meaning she has all the same privileges as regular members minus the whole initiation thing. Brandy was granted membership in 2014 and posted about it on Instagram, writing, “Today was a very special day. I became an honorary member of #AlphaKappaAlpha!”

Another honorary member of Alpha Kappa Kappa? That’d be legendary singer/pianist Alicia Keys, who was welcomed into the sorority in 2004. Ummm, between her and Brandy, this sisterhood is shaping up to be incredibly talented and we’re just getting started.

Delta Gamma sisters are truly blessed to count Julia Louis-Dreyfus among their members. The Seinfeld actor pledged her allegiance to the sorority during her time at Northwestern University—although she deactivated after a year and eventually dropped out of school to pursue acting. Before she was a member of Danity Kane (and well before her alleged affair with Donald Trump Jr., ahem), Aubrey O’Day was a sorority gal. The singer belonged to Alpha Chi Omega during her time at UC Irvine and visited the house for a reunion back in 2011.
